and find out what pleases the Lord

Ephesians 5.10 NIV

“find out what pleases the Lord”

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10 and find out what pleases the Lord. 11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light.
Ephesians 5.8-13 NIV

“Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit (light) is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord

Walk in Light
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the [b]Spirit (light) is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), 10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather [c]expose (reprove) them. 12 For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. 13 But all things that are [d]exposed (reproved) are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light.
Ephesians 5.8-13

“Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving (Lit. confessing) thanks to His name”

“But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased”

Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, [d] giving (Lit. confessing) thanks to His name. 16 But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
Hebrews 13.15-16

“be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding”

“that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him

“being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God”

“strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy”

“giving thanks to the Father”

For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; 12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.
