“Judge not, and you shall not be judged.”

[ Do not judge ] Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
Luke 6.37

“He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law.”

“But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge.”

“Who are you to judge another?”

Do not judge a brother

Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. 12 There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another?

James 4.11-12

“Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.”

God’s Righteous Judgment

Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. 2 But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things. 3 And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?
Romans 2.1-3

“Do not go hastily to court”

Do not go hastily to court
;

For what will you do in the end,
When your neighbor has put you to shame?
9 Debate your case with your neighbor,
And do not disclose the secret to another;
10 Lest he who hears it expose your shame,
And your reputation be ruined.
Proverbs 25.8-10

“Judge (condemn) not, that you be not judged.”

“For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.”

“why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?”

“First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”

Do Not Judge
Judge [a] (condemn) not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
6 “Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.
Matthew 7.1-6

These six things the Lord hates,..A proud look”

These six things the Lord hates,
Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:
17 A proud look,
A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood,
18 A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that are swift in running to evil,
19 A false witness who speaks lies,
And one who sows discord among brethren.
Proverbs 6.16-19

have you not shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?”

4 have you not shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?

8 If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,”  you do well

James 2.4, 8

“but if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors”

but if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors.
10 For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.

James 2.9-10

“For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy.
Mercy triumphs over judgment.”

So speak and so do as those who will be judged by
the law of liberty. 13 For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
2 Timothy 4.8

“committed Himself to Him who judges righteously”

who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously
1 Peter 2.23

“But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.”

But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.
1 Corinthians 11.32

“Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door!”

brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door!

Prayer

Dear God,

I pray You please help me not to judge others
And please help me to be understanding of those I would have judged
In Jesus’ name Amen

I, wisdom, dwell with prudence,
And find out knowledge and discretion.
13 The fear of the Lord is to hate evil;
Pride and arrogance and the evil way
And the perverse mouth I hate.
14 Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom;
I am understanding, I have strength.
Proverbs 8.12

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
