Intro

Our Goal must be to empower others to do what is right and good for them, and to bring them into spiritual maturity
Romans 15.2 TPT

“the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

“the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God…nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1 Corinthians 2.13-14

Wisdom of God

“we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.”

“we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom”

However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.
7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, 8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
1 Corinthians 2.6-8

Spiritual Maturity

Milk (Immature)

“as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow (up to salvation)”

Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, 2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow [a] (up to salvation) thereby, 3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
1 Peter 2.1-3

“For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal…?”

And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. 2 I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; 3 for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?
1 Corinthians 3.1-3

Solid Food (Mature)

To become kings + priests in Christ, one should grow up (mature) from milk to solid food

“solid food belongs to those who are of full age (mature)”

“who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”

But solid food belongs to those who are of [c] full age (mature), that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
